Feel safe, calm and comfortable in a few appointments.
Your one-to-one anxiety release hypnotherapy sessions with me identifies the root of the issue:
Instead of feeling overwhelmed, you start to feel more settled, with a clear sense that you can handle everyday life, and the bigger challenges, without anxiety taking over.
Anxiety can creep into everything: work, health, relationships and sleep, until you feel permanently on edge or a constant feeling that something bad is about to happen.
“I recently enjoyed my flight! I never thought I’d say anything positive about flying”

Most people tell themselves to “be rational” or “pull themselves together” but the anxious reaction is driven by the subconscious mind. Hypnotherapy works directly with that deeper part of your mind.
I’ll guide you step by step to achieve lasting change.
At home on the phone: I connect with English-speaking clients worldwide (UK, Europe, USA, Australia) via phone or WhatsApp audio, which works exceptionally well for hypnotherapy.
In-Person: I also see clients face-to-face at clinics at the Portland Clinic in Wimpole Street, London (W1) or in St Albans.

90 Minutes: The first half is a relaxed discussion. We talk about what is going on in your life and what you want to work on. We discuss patterns, triggers and goals. In the second half, I guide you through a tailored hypnotherapy session to release root causes and begin making changes immediately. You can cover multiple issues in each session.

60–75 Minutes: These are usually spaced two weeks apart to reinforce the changes and address any new layers that come up. Each session deepens the changes. You can have a top up at time in the future. Some clients like to have regular sessions to deal with life , work and business issues as they arise.

I typically work with clients over 2 to 4 appointments. I believe in a bespoke approach, some hypnotherapists might try to sign you up for a long, expensive course. I don't work that way. I start with a minimum of two appointments, with further sessions booked only based on your individual needs.

I used to dread the dentist and avoided going for years. After two hypnotherapy sessions I booked a check-up, had x-rays and treatment and was surprised at how calm I felt. The techniques have also helped me in other stressful situations.
Natalie, Wokingham
I have overcome my fear of going in public toilets thanks to you and the hypnotherapy.
David, Hertfordshire
My anxiety had consumed my whole life stopping me from even going to the shops, each hypnotherapy session helped me get my life back. It is amazing that I only had 4 appointments and the progress I have made is remarkable. I find myself singing to myself doing the cooking as I am so relaxed.
Rachel, Melbourne
Just a quick message with a very belated thank you for a great hypnotherapy session and for sending me the Bach flower remedies. I really do feel that both have done me the world of good - I feel quite different which is the idea I suppose! I really am feeling quite settled and contented and have no overwhelming fears in my mind. Many thanks
Wendy, Surrey
I recently enjoyed my flight! I never thought I would hear myself say anything positive about flying.
Laura, Camberley
I tried hypnotherapy to help me calm when I have to go to the dentist and especially when I need to have work done. I am now much calmer and more relaxed with check-ups, x-rays and minor procedures. I am glad I decided to try hypnotherapy. The techniques I learned are useful in lots of situations
Nicola, Wokingham
Before the hypnotherapy, I felt I was working all hours and a slave to my job. I can see how it was all of this that caused the anxiety and fears. Now I am in control and I know I can use the techniques if I ever need to. I am much better at switching off from work and enjoying the weekend. I don't get the Sunday evening nerves about going to work on Monday.
James, California
I couldn't even go in a lift before the hypnotherapy for my fear of heights but recently scaled a huge mountain on an excursion to my family's surprise.
Emma, Hertfordshire
I hadn't been to the dentist for several years, just the thought stressed me. After two hypnotherapy sessions, I booked an appointment with the dentist and quite enjoyed it surprisingly!
Helena, Berkshire
The hypnotherapy appointments have lifted me out of a dark cloud. Before, I was depressed for months and caught up in a cycle of bad habits. It is incredible how hypnotherapy has eliminated the stress in my life, the terrible low feelings and anxiety. I am outgoing, do nice things for myself, and have created a ritual of self-care. I am sociable again, and my career is rocketing.
Katie from London
Think of hypnotherapy as a fully conscious, deep relaxation. It feels a bit like that lovely, heavy moment when you wake up in the morning but can’t be bothered to get up yet. It is similar to day dreaming. You are safe, in control, and awake the whole time.
In this relaxed floaty feeling:
The Royal College of Psychiatrists describes hypnotherapy as a form of psychological therapy that uses hypnosis to help treat certain mental and physical health conditions and to change habits.
I use proven hypnotherapy, NLP, CBT, coaching and reframing techniques. I access your subconscious mind to identify and release the emotional drivers behind your anxiety. You remain aware and in control throughout. I teach you coping strategies, tools and techniques, so you can feel the benefit not just in sessions, but in real life.
The hypnotherapy acts like a software update: we rewrite that old programme, allowing you to easily create new habits. It is a powerful shift in thinking that helps you finally make the choices you’ve been trying to make for years.
You might feel sceptical or worried that it "won't work for you." That is completely normal. Most of my clients say they wish they had done this sooner.
Full of nervous energy: You can feel “on edge”.
Can’t switch off: Your mind jumps to worst-case scenarios.
You avoid situations: Fears take over because of fear (travel, work events, social occasions, hospitals, dentists, driving, flying).
You exhaust yourself: You’re exhausted by controlling everything, checking or over-preparing.
Physical symptoms: Churning stomach, racing heart, shaky hands, dizziness – even when logically you know you’re safe.
Anxiety taking over: You feel your anxiety or fear is “taking over” your life or affecting your children.
If you answered "yes" to any of these, you just need the right tools to change and I can help you.
If you aren't ready for one-to-one sessions yet, you can begin listening immediately with my Feel Amazing Hypnotherapy App. It features over 60 recordings.

Research into hypnotherapy for anxiety and phobias is growing. Overall, it suggests hypnosis can be a useful tool. A review from the Royal College of Psychiatrists explains that hypnotherapy uses hypnosis as a psychological therapy to help treat certain mental and physical health conditions and to change habits.
A 2010 expert review of self-hypnosis and anxiety-related conditions found compelling evidence that hypnosis is effective for state anxiety (for example before tests, surgery or medical procedures) and for some anxiety-related disorders, while calling for more trials on long-term, generalised anxiety.
A systematic review and meta-analysis concluded that hypnosis is more effective for reducing anxiety when it is combined with other psychological interventions (such as CBT) than when used alone.
A 2022 randomised trial in medical students found that hypnosis reduced test anxiety more than progressive muscle relaxation and changed attention away from threatening exam-related cues.
A 2023–24 umbrella review of hypnosis across many conditions reported that clinicians rated hypnosis as particularly helpful for stress reduction, anxiety and enhancing well-being.
A 2023 randomised controlled trial of hypnotherapy for agoraphobia showed greater reductions in anxiety than a waitlist control, suggesting hypnotherapy may be a promising treatment for anxiety disorders in structured programmes.
Hypnotherapy may help some people reduce anxiety, particularly when used alongside other psychological support. A 2019 meta-analysis of 17 controlled trials found lower anxiety outcomes with hypnosis than control conditions; effects were stronger when hypnosis was combined with another psychological intervention. Read the meta-analysis on PubMed.
Evidence is varied by the type of anxiety, setting and intervention, so this does not mean hypnotherapy is a proven replacement for NHS-recommended care. The Royal College of Psychiatrists describes hypnotherapy as a psychological therapy that may help some mental and physical health conditions. Read its guidance.
For persistent or severe anxiety, panic, trauma symptoms, or thoughts of self-harm, it is important to speak with a GP or an appropriate mental-health professional. NICE guidance for generalised anxiety disorder and panic disorder sets out stepped-care options, including psychological therapies and medication where appropriate. Read the NICE guidance.
